ProSeG – Information Security, Protection and Resilience in Smart Grids is a research project funded by MCTI/CNPq/CT-ENERG # 33/2013. The project started in march 2014 and is targeted at investigating and developing mechanisms and services that can be integrated into a future Smart Grid for addressing stringent security and resilience requirements.

ProSeG’s activities are mainly held in the Institute of Informatics of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). The project comprises a consortium of organisations from industry, academia and energy utilities, with complementary expertise in the area of information security and resilience for Smart Grids.

The members of the consortium are:

• Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT)
• CP Eletrônica
