The general purpose of this project is the development of a system to colect and analyze the users experience when using the wireless network of the brazilian National Research Network (RNP).

Digitel – Design of Spectrum Sensing Algorithms for IEEE 802.22 Networks

The general purpose of this project is the development of spectrum sensing algorithms for IEEE 802.22 networks. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were defined:

• Study of theoretical foundations of the IEEE 802.22 standard;
• Set up the necessary infrastructure to simulate the spectrum sensing in IEEE 802.22 networks;
• Design spectrum sensing algorithms;
• Implement the designed spectrum sensing algorithms;
• Analyse the performance of the proposed algorithms, using the infrastructure mounted
